the way I am unhappy with my body is really bizarre. Like, everyone says that the media pushes us to want to be skinny and flat stomached, etc. But the way I am unhappy with my body isn’t “I’m fat” it’s just… “I’m not right.”
Like, yeah… I can look at a supermodel and say “I wish I had her body…”
But I also can look at Christina Hendricks and say that.
Or some of the beautiful plus sized women I follow.

Or some of the girls in the thinspo pictures that every once and awhile find their way across my dash.

I’m not being pushed by the media into any one corner of what is “beautiful”.

Because my warped perception of “beautiful” happens to be “everything that isn’t me”.
